In June each year, 50 hot air balloons glide across London’s skyline at the Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta® to raise money and awareness for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
The brainchild of Exclusive Ballooning, the Lord Mayor’s Balloon Regatta is the official ballooning event of the City of London as well as the aerial extension of the 800-year-old Lord Mayor’s Show. In fact, the Balloon Regatta has become such a huge success that with the backing of the City of London Corporation, Mansion House and the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Office, it’s become a significant landmark in London’s social calendar.

A conservative estimate of what similar exposure of this kind would have cost us of we had to pay these media companies (online only) would be in the region of £80,000 – although of course the BBC coverage cannot be paid for and so is even more valuable.”
