Admin Assistant – Production – Full-Time
Location: Breadstone, Gloucestershire
Diamond Hot Air Balloons is a manufacturer of hot air balloons based in Breadstone, Gloucestershire. We are currently seeking a full-time admin assistant to join our busy and expanding production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out administrative duties and paperwork to ensure the smooth running of our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry, filing, and organising paperwork
- Answering phones, emails and responding to customer queries
- Maintaining and updating records
- Assisting with purchasing and inventory management
- Liaising with other departments to ensure efficient operations
- General administrative duties as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative role is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of word/pages and familiarity with spreadsheets
- Knowledge of inventory management is an advantage
Working Hours and Benefits:
The successful candidate will work 9-5 Monday to Friday, although days and times may be flexible for the right candidate. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience. Other benefits include:

Position – Production Team Member
As a Production Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the creation of our hot air balloons.
- Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Cutting panels for balloon construction, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Working with printing fabrics, assisting in the creation of vibrant and visually appealing designs.
- Assisting in rigging balloons, ensuring proper assembly and functionality.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Sewing Machinist / Seamstress
Location: Breadstone, Gloucestershire
Diamond Hot Air Balloons is a hot air balloon manufacturer based in Breadstone, Gloucestershire. We are currently looking for an additional experienced seamstress to join our friendly, ever evolving, fun and fast paced team.
We are looking for a confident and skilled machinist/seamstress preferably with experience in all aspects of Hot Air Balloon work. The successful candidate must be able to work well as part of a team but also reliable to work without direct supervision. The position is ideally full time, we will consider part time and flexible days/ timings for the right candidate.
As a sewing machinist/seamstress you will be required to:
- Work with various grades and types of Hot Air Balloon materials
- Initiate repairs and work from drawings and templates
- Sew and produce complex parts
- Work as an individual or within a team dependant on task
- Sew and machine accurately
- Quality check own work prior to release for inspection
- Complete paperwork correctly and efficiently
- Be Punctual, polite, professional and courteous
The sewing machinist/seamstress should have the following skills or experience:
- Competent user of various types of industrial sewing machines (Twin Needle, Single Needle, Zig-Zag)
- Experience with French Fell Seams
- Understanding of sewing machine operations
- Experience of sewing in a production environment
- Good problem solving skills
- Good paperwork skills
- Initiative to raise improvement ideas
- Skills, attitudes and behaviours necessary to be competent in the role
- Good team tea making skills
- Previous experience in sewing Hot Air Balloons is an advantage
