#Tall Steve in Texas at The Great Texas Balloon Race 2018

Our lovable Penguin has been having a great time and impressing the crowds at The 41st Great Texas Balloon Race, held at the East Texas Regional Airport at Longview, this event attracts competition pilots from across the USA and further beyond.

50 balloons attended and took part in a variety of competition flights and challenges, including a ring toss on a pole.

The balloons flew on each day of the event from 27-29 July and the nightglow was a great crowd pleaser.

There was an array of entertainment for the family, including Kids Land with bouncy castles and slides, obstacle courses and bungee runs, plus live music and plenty of food and drink outlets – the crowds numbered over 20,000.

#Tall Steve will now head home to the UK, in time for his next appearances at Oswestry and the Sky Safari.
