Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 2026
What a fantastic Bristol International Balloon Fiesta! With five out of six possible flights taking to the skies, it’s been an incredible few days at Ashton Court – and one we won’t forget in a hurry.
Johnny Panda proved to be a real crowd-pleaser, greeted by cheers on take-off and plenty of cameras wherever he landed. Saturday evening’s landing in Thornbury brought the local community together for a group photo.
Johnny’s smaller counterpart Bamboo, a new model RC replica, also made an appearance during the Fiesta, giving spectators the chance to see the pair in two very different sizes!
Wallace & Gromit’s Moon Rocket stole the show wherever it flew, while also giving some very lucky prize winners the unforgettable opportunity to take to the skies.
Renishaw gave passengers a truly unique perspective of the Fiesta from above, while the new Tuckers Grave Inn and Roof Care 365 balloons both made their Fiesta debuts – showcasing just how impactful corporate balloon sponsorship can be.
Our manufacturing arm, Diamond Balloons, was well represented too, with 10 Diamond-built balloons filling the skies above Ashton Court. Among them was a new P-90 making its debut for a customer, alongside Corsham Fencing and Patios, three Alien balloons for FlyAlien, and a new wolf, “Snowy”.
A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us, photographed our balloons, shared their pictures and tagged us over the weekend. We’ve loved seeing the Fiesta through your eyes!
And with that, the 48th Bristol International Balloon Fiesta comes to a close.
Thank you, Bristol – we’re already looking forward to returning in 2027!
