Stealing the Limelight at Wales National Airshow

This evening ten hot air balloons lined the sands on Swansea Bay to put on a show for waiting crowds of tens of thousands of people.

Upon arrival, all of the crew and pilots checked in and enjoyed a nice picnic on the beach for half an hour to prepare themselves ready for the evening’s night glow.

As soon as the balloons were inflated, they dazzled the crowd with a choreographed night glow which lasted over twenty minutes and included a large mixture of song genres; there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Amongst the hot air balloons were several of our special shapes including our special shape Ricoh cube, our Longleat Lion Simbaloo, Adelaide the Koala and Duma the Cheetah. Our Renishaw hot air balloon along with our own branded balloons and more also appeared in the night glow line up.

The end of the night glow was choreographed to finish with a fantastic firework display which soared from a boat out at sea.
