Hunter Strides Over Central London

During the early hours of this morning, our 120ft special shape Hunter hot air balloon rose gracefully over the City of London. The special shape flew over such landmarks as Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park and enjoyed great views of Tower Bridge, St Pauls Cathedral, Tower of London and Wembley before soaring over the Alexandra Palace.

The Hunter Original reached heights of 1500ft, alongside our own Exclusive Ballooning hot air balloon, allowing for fantastic photo opportunities involving the beauty and architecture of London.

Launching from Battersea Park at 05:15, the balloons flew for two hours, eventually landing safely in the Potters Bar area.

Battersea Park will also be the launch site for The RICOH Lord Mayors Balloon Regatta® this coming June which will see up to 50 hot air balloons taking to the skies, including the famous Hunter Boot. The RICOH Lord Mayors Balloon Regatta® aims to raise awareness of the Lord Mayors Appeal charities and further information can be found on the event at www.BalloonRegatta.com
