Renishaw Accessible Hot Air Balloon Launches

Working in partnership with Exclusive Ballooning, Renishaw first launched their accessible hot air balloon in 2013 with G-RENI.

Since launch, Renishaw’s G-RENI has spent its time in the skies flying passengers with mobility challenges, including those requiring a wheelchair – ensuring that the skies are more accessible!

After more than 10 years in the sky, G-RENI deserves a well earned rest, and Exclusive Ballooning are pleased to announce the arrival of a new Diamond S-120, built by Exclusive Ballooning’s sister company, Diamond Hot Air Balloons.

The balloon, launched at Renishaw’s New Mills headquarters in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, UK carrys the aircraft registration G-MEAS, a nod to their expertise in measurement technology.

G-MEAS will continue the role of accessible balloon flights in the South West region, and will be seen at events throughout the UK, including Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and The Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta.
