Exclusive Ballooning Launches Educational Package
Wednesday 4th December 2020 saw the launch of Exclusive Ballooning’s latest venture. Teaching students all about ballooning and inspiring the next generation to become involved in the sport.
The first of our presentations took place at Ashmead Combined School in Aylesbury and consisted of three elements:
- A Digital Presentation covering the history of ballooning, how they are made and how they work.
- A cold inflation demonstration where the envelope is blown open allowing students to see inside first hand
- A tethered display showing how everything taught comes together to give the end result. A fully inflated hot air balloon!
The package can be tailored to requirements and adjusted to suit specific age ranges.
Delivered by our highly professional pilots and crew, this is a unique package that can benefit any and all ages.

Exclusive Ballooning visited the school as part of our Up, Up and Away topic. The children had a fantastic day finding out all about how the balloon works, experiencing a cold inflation and finally watching a tethered display on the school field. Piers the pilot and his team had a fantastic manner with the children and everyone was excited and engaged during every activity. This is the second time Exclusive Ballooning has visited the school but the schools package was a new addition this visit. The benefits from the packagae included a child friendly informative presentation and the opportunity to get up close to the envelope during the cold inflate. Exclusive ballooning were very adaptable finding suitable dates to visit. Due to the bad weather we have been experiencing for the last 2 months, this took daily conversations and a huge amount of flexibilty but we got there in the end. Having a hot air balloon tethered on your school field is very special and something children and staff will talk about for years to come. Thank you for an amazing day. We look forward to seeing you all again in two years time when this topic is redone.
