This no ordinary hot air balloon - in many ways.
It is the first extreme racing hot air balloon in the UK and was built in the Czech Republic by specialist company Kubicek. It will fly throughout the world at competitions and balloon festivals launching for the first time at the 2012 Exclusive Cup.
The quality of the artwork which is new technology in ballooning also makes the balloon very special. The pictures of Elle in her Gossard Egoboost bra are 40ft high and in photographic quality - traffic stopping power!
The balloon was launched in June 2012 at Gossard's HQ in Nottingham and then went on to the Exclusive Cup before the first competitive event of the year in Ludlow.
The balloon visited the MODA exhibition at the NEC in August and Exclusive Ballooning's inflatable division blimpX.com also built a scale replica which 'flew' inside...
2012 saw team Gossard take four podium positions in the four events it attended. Bronze in the Pre-European championships, Poland, Silver in the Coupe D'Europe in France and Gold in both the Monregalese Troph, Italy and significantly, the British National Championships which includes the ranking position number 1 in the UK.
In January 2013, the first team Gossard video found its' way onto YouTube and pulled in over 4,000 views in the first 24 hours online.

In 2013, Team Gossard represented Great Britain at the European hot air ballooning championships, Poland as well as taking silver in the British Ballooning Grand Prix series. The UK ranking of number 1 was retained for a second year by making history to retain the British National Championships for a second successive year.
2014 saw team Gossard make more history by winning the British National Championships for a third successive year. Chief pilot Andrew Holly is the only person to win the event three times in a row after an initial win. The only other pilot to achieve three in a row did so in the 1990's although first won the event in the early 1980's.
The team also attended their fourth successive World championships in Rio Clara, Brazil and the balloon toured the UK on another social media tour taking in London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Manchester, Oxford and Nottingham. It was the first balloon in over twenty years to overfly the Forth Rail Bridge, Scotland.
