Broadgate Estates approached Exclusive Ballooning about their social media programmes with a brief to send more people to their Facebook site.
The answer was a two week installation of a smaller than usual hot air balloon in Exchange Square next to Liverpool Street Station in the heart of the city. A competition was used to select winners to ride in the balloon during the three 'slots' - morning, lunch time and evening. To enter the competition you were directed to the company Facebook page where you needed to follow the company. The draw selected winners who then flew in the balloon (50 per day) and they were then able to pick up the images from the basketcam on the company website later that day.
There was also a side competition which gave a prize of a flight for two in the balloon from our Italian base later in the year.
Another successful social media program with huge footfall in the area creating a huge buzz over the two week period. A press stunt with the World's smallest working office also brought in huge publicity.
